Title: Status of OpenGL ES ?

The latest ARM based SBC's are getting to be powerful enough to be an MC renderer/client for video as well as audio.  But key to this is support for OpenGL ES in Theater View.  Is support for OpenGL ES on ARM coming anytime soon?

I don't suppose Vulkan would be a possibility too?

Maybe for video playback at some point, not likely for Theater View.
