Title: Use PNG icon instead of ICO icon
Post by: Awesome Donkey on January 22, 2016, 08:49:42 am
By default, Media Center 21 uses Application.ico as the default icon. While this works, using an .ico file *may* cause issues, e.g. missing icon when running Media Center.

The Icon Theme Spec (http://standards.freedesktop.org/icon-theme-spec/icon-theme-spec-latest.html) states the following;

Quote
Icon file
An icon file is an image that can be loaded and used as an icon. The supported image file formats are PNG, XPM and SVG. PNG is the recommended bitmap format, and SVG is for vectorized icons. XPM is supported due to backwards compability reasons, and it is not recommended that new themes use XPM files. Support for SVGs is optional.

So yeah, is this something that can be changed?
