Title: Tooltip popup blocks keyboard input
Post by: InflatableMouse on August 29, 2020, 09:07:55 am
Whenever a tooltip from a track pops up, keyboard input is no longer accepted. First I need to move the mouse so the tooltip disappears and then be quicker than the next popup.

I don't want to disable those popups because they do offer valuable information.

This behavior is not seen on the Windows version.

Edit: disabling the tooltip in options doesn't work; tooltips are still shown.
Edit2: the tooltip setting needed a restart of MC   ?  ::)

What kind of keyboard input?
What's an easy way to duplicate this?

Select a track in panes view, move the mouse over another track. Once the tooltip pops up, hit a key that does something on the selection, like Delete or Enter, F2.

Actually, coming to think of it, I don't think I ever used something other than the Delete key. I'd be surprised if that's the only key not working though.

It took time to get to this but it should be fixed in the next build of MC27
