Title: Suddenly MC cannot play newly imported files

Files I've imported today will not play on MC21.  I get the message
"Playback Failed The media types of the selected files are not supported for playback. (<none>)"
The same files play on Pot Player.  I've tried downloading different file formats (.ape and .flac) but they will not play either. Files I've downloaded before today play as they always have.  I haven't made any changes to MC's settings. This does not make sense.  I noticed some similar postings in 2013 and 2014, but the solutions there have no semblance to my situation. Does anyone have a clue?

Please try the latest MC24.
