Hi everyone, my music is on an external hard drive accessed through a USB port which is usually assigned to E: by windows 7. I moved the hard drive to a different USB port in order to be able to rip some new CDs, and that port seems to be D:. When I moved the hard drive back to its usual spot, all of the existing file names had been changed to D: I tried going to Library tools - find and replace to replace D: with E: but it only seems to do that with one specific track. Is there a way to do a blanket replace of everything?
Many thanks, Jeff

You can change the drive letter. You might find it best to set it higher in the range, such as M: (for Media or Music). This can be done with the Windows Disk Management tool.
If you want to leave the drive letter as it is, use the Rename tool in Update mode, and do a Find/Replace on the drive letter. Select all the files first.

I was able to select all the files and then did a replace on the drive letter - everything seems to have worked. Many thanks.
