Title: What is the "X" Superimpsed over the title in JRemote?
Post by: mwheelerk on August 21, 2014, 06:57:36 pm
There is an "X" superimposed over the song title on my version of JRemote. It seems to do the same function as the "i" figure in the upper right hand corner. It simply looks bad.

Making a toggle seems like the solution. Perhaps make it a filled circle to indicate that it is active.

I would also like to see removed from the fullscreen cover art view, making it so that tapping anywhere on the screen would dismiss it.
This gives you a better view of the art, and makes it easier to use.

+1. It would look better up top. Possibly replacing the "I" when that pane is showing.

Making the "i" a toggle would work on the now playing screen, but not for other views where you can access the metadata.
The "x" is currently there for consistency.

The position of the X is not optimal, and is sort of a temporary solution. I would appreciate more ideas for a better implementation.

Regarding removing the X from the full-screen cover view. I am worried that it would interfere with other actions like panning and scaling the image.

Could the Search/Edit boxes be shifted to the left towards the "stars" and the "x" be placed to their right?

IŽll do some tests and see how it would look to move the X.
The next version will most likely have some changes done here.
