Title: Opening Page
Post by: Terence on March 18, 2021, 10:40:29 am
Hello

Can I change the opening page? Now I have the 'Welcome to JRiver' etc. etc. I would like it to open to albums, instead. Thank you.

In MC's Options go to Startup and under Startup Interface set Location: to Last Location and Mode: to Last Exit View and go to your album view and close Media Center completely (including Media Server). When you reopen Media Center it'll open to your last view, which would be albums in this case.

I actually find this to be frequently unreliable on mac mc after having used mc on windows for a few years prior where this wasn't an issue. It tends to reset to the startup page at random for some reason despite mc being closed properly.

If you're using Media Server, make sure you close that down too so your last view is correctly saved. I don't use Media Server so the last exit view has always saved correctly for me.

I tried disabling media server and it still happens. I had media server running on windows too and that one worked just fine.
