Several years ago I found a web site which listed, by year AND by week, all the USA's "top 40" hits. Each record, so to speak, included the song title and artist, the date at which it entered the charts, and the number at which it topped-out. Pretty simple.
Well, I was clairvoyant enough to copy some of the data to a spreadsheet, but not the darn URL of the website! And now I'd like to find it again (and have been googling and searching for months... to no avail).
Anyway... anyone here know where I can find this kind of data, mostly for the time period from 1985 to the present?
Thank you.

You might be thinking of http://umdmusic.com.

That's a good one - thank you! - definitely better than anything I had found to date, but it doesn't appear to be the one I found originally. Who knows... maybe mine is no longer active.
Anyway - many thanks!
