Title: Video File with Mulitple Genres
Post by: jacky on June 14, 2009, 06:23:18 pm
How do I edit the tag of a video file to have more than 1 genre?

I tried for example -- action, comedy and action; comedy

both would just be read as one unique genre.

i'm surprised from the lack of response.  From the # of responses, I presume this feature doesn't exist.  ?

well, not to be rude, but the lack of response can also be becuase the question was not very new..  ;)
you have two options. you can make your own genres field in the library, make it a list field, and type the genres like: action;comedy;action and for the other just comedy. and it will do what you want.
or use the genre field and keep the values also seperated by ;. but make a view were you use an expression for the genre field that says:
Code: [Select]
[genre]&datatype=[list]
