Title: Integrating JRiver Media Center with Previewer of File Managers
Post by: ricktre on September 24, 2013, 05:11:36 am
Greetings,

New member here and I do not know if someone already asked this question. I was wondering if there is any way to empower the internal viewer of third party file managers, like Directory Opus or XYplorer, with JRiver Media Center?

Other multimedia players, e.g. Zoom Player and Media Player Classic, install system-wide DirectShow components allowing the aforementioned file managers to take advantage of these components and playback directly inside their previewer pane. I find it is quite handy as I don't really have to open the actual program to play audio/video files. This does not look the same case with JRiver MC as its component (LAV Filters) are located in a confined place (?).

Could somebody give me some insights?

Thank you in advance,

rick
