Title: Multicore usage for DSD conversion
Post by: v_erich on November 05, 2021, 12:56:08 pm
Hi,
I use MC on an NUC10i7 6 core PC.
I use convolving and upsampling/conversion to DSD.
My problem is that it uses only 1 core fully and sometimes its on 9x% usage for this core.
All other 5 cores are doing relatively nothing and I want to test/use upsampling to DSD512 but this single core is not fast enough.

Is it possible to make the DSD conversion multiprocessing/multithreaded to use more than one core?

Thanks and BR,
Erich

IIRC it should use one core per channel. Perhaps convolving is limiting it.
It's not possible to use more than one core per channel from what I understand.
