Title: Settop Box Enigma2
Post by: The Big Labinski on July 09, 2017, 09:58:23 am
Is there a possibility to stream TV channels from an Enigma Settop Box directly with MC?
So I would not need any TV hardware in the PC. The Enigma Hardware is Linux based and has more than one receiver build in.
Mediportal and Kodi are able to handle this.

If not at the moment, will this be a feature in the near future?

It looks like it has a web interface that can be used from a browser.  You might be able to open it from Theater View but it would take some experimenting.

Dear JimH, i´m able now to stream from my set-top box the tv programs into MC and they are running fine.

The webif is providing a M3U file with this structure:
http://192.168.10.54:8001/1:0:19:132F:3EF:1:C00000:0:0:0:

how can I import this file into MC and rename it?

Try saving it as a playlist.

You can do that by playing it first (if it does play), then right clicking, then send to playlist.

Dear JimH, this works perfect - I have now all my television channels available in MC.
Many thanks
