Title: Thumbnail sizes not persistent
Post by: tyler69 on October 12, 2017, 01:04:59 pm
When I restart MC, the thumbnails that I resized (made them bigger) in my library are small again (default).

Are you talking about the slider at the upper right corner of each view which controls the size of thumbnails is that view?

Are you using a standalone MC or a client that talks to a server?  All kinds of stuff doesn't "stick" on clients.  Edits (mostly) don't work, column sizes reset, etc.  I wouldn't be surprised if client thumbnail sizes don't stick either.  The solution in all cases with a client server setup is to make the changes on the server itself.

Thanks.
I'm connecting to a remote library. You're right, I can confirm that this setting (yes, the slider on top right) is fetched from the server.
Could this be made an option to "keep client settings"? It's a completely different screen size between client and server (12" vs 100") and the thumbnails size only satisfies one of them with regard to readability.
