Title: How to add a field to the filename, but only when it has a value?
Post by: FenceFurniture on May 14, 2020, 10:09:38 am
Using Rename/Move (F6) I'm creating filenames with the following:
[Track #] [Name]  [[Work]]

which yields

01 I. Allegro [Op.24].flac

Sometimes I have two versions of the same work, so I could create a field called "Version".

What I would like to know please, is how I can tack on a space plus the version number, but ONLY if the Version has a value, to get:
01 I. Allegro [Op.24] v2.flac

I would not be putting a version number if there is not more than one. I know I could create a version number with the leading space, and just add [Version] to the rule above, but that seems a little inelegant!
