Title: DLNA AV Receiver playback
Post by: Soup_Dragon on December 10, 2017, 07:41:52 am
Hi, I'm hoping someone can help.  My Windows 10 PC running JRiver is on the same network as my Marantz AV Receiver which is DLNA compatible.  I simply want to play music from JRiver on my PC through the Marantz.  I turned the media server on, but I'm finding the instructions way too complicated and can't get it to work at all.  I've looked at posts here and the help and Wiki sections.  Surely this should be way simpler...

The DLNA article on our wiki should help.

Your Marantz is probably a DLNA Renderer.  If so, it will show up in Playing Now in MC.  Drag a track to it and it should play.

It shows up in Windows as 'Digital media renderer, Digital media player' in Devices & Printer.  There's no mention of it in JRiver, so I can't drag and drop.  Please see attachment.

Did you turn Media Network on in MC settings?
