Using Windows 10. I used to be able to shutdown my HTPC via JRemote. Now I get a popup on the HTPC screen asking to confirm yes/no. Is there a way to make this prompt go away?

Same issue, same request

JRiver moderator/support - you must be aware of how to fix this. Please help.

I assume it's a windows prompt?
-
Yes. I’m not at home so I can’t send a screen shot but let me know if one is needed.

We are aren't able to duplicate that here, Windows shuts down immediately.
Sounds like a setting in Windows.

I have bone stock Windows 10 Pro. I have not added any restriction. Would you be able to help with a registry setting (if that is what it is) to avoid this prompt?

Attach a screenshot please, a quick search online isn't yielding any useful results.

I figured out why this was happening.
I frequently use RDP to remote control my HTPC from another room. After using RDP the shutdown from JRemote will prompt with the yes/no pop-up. If I reboot my HTPC then JRemote will shutdown properly.
I have added a scheduled task to reboot my HTPC overnight so this should resolve this for me.
