Title: JRemote shutdown prompting yes/no
Post by: R32NJ on February 21, 2019, 05:47:16 pm: Using Windows 10. I used to be able to shutdown my HTPC via JRemote. Now I get a popup on the HTPC screen asking to confirm yes/no. Is there a way to make this prompt go away?

Sounds like a setting in Windows.

Post by: R32NJ on December 05, 2019, 11:00:08 am: I figured out why this was happening.

I frequently use RDP to remote control my HTPC from another room. After using RDP the shutdown from JRemote will prompt with the yes/no pop-up. If I reboot my HTPC then JRemote will shutdown properly.

I have added a scheduled task to reboot my HTPC overnight so this should resolve this for me.
