Upgraded to El Capitan now integer mode no longer works with MC21, I hear music which is distorted and faint, unchecking integer mode everything is then fine.
-
I'm running the 10.11.1 beta 3 and MC 21.0.8 and not noticing any issues with integer mode. I don't recall having any issue on the base 10.11 release, but was only on it for a short time before moving to the beta. I'm on an early 2013 MacBook Pro.

Late 2013 MBP here with Meridian Explorer dac, tried again today still the same issue everything was fine with Yosemite and MC21.
Update:
I have just tried Bitperfect 3 and have the same issue looks like it is a OSX problem.
-
Update: it appears only the Explorer dac thats affected, my Sabre dac is fine with all players ?
-
Same here with the iFi USB Power and iDAC combo. Can not use Integer mode.
-
Same here for my Teac UD-501. I wonder though if switching off integer mode affects me if I'm using 2xDSD in DOP format as output.
-
When I open Audio Midi Setup while playing a DSD file, it says 2ch-32bit Integer... So looks like integer mode is on regardless of the setting in Media Center?

Integer mode doesn't work with Ayre QB-9 DSD while it works ok with the builtin on macbook pro retina 13 2014.

Running MAC Mini 2011 with iFI Micro USB and Dodson DAC...Integer Mode stopped working when I upgraded to El Captain.
-
There have been wide reports of USB Audio issues with El Cap. Here's one of many example threads on the Apple Discussion Forums:

Funny thing, I tested integer mode with 21.0.19 and it works fine for me. Has anyone else tested it with this new build?
-
I can confirm that Integer mode works again for me. TEAC UD-501
