Title: Mouse gestures and JRemote app connection to OSX MC21?
Post by: Dorjee on September 12, 2015, 01:45:30 pm
Just curious searched all through options couldn't find anything on mouse gestures.

Primarily:
1) Scroll up down for volume.
2) Scroll left right for video track.

I know on the PC version by default scroll left right effects the video track.

So far what I have seen for the Mac:
1) left right arrows effect the video track
2) up down goes to "playing now" and "chapter" tho i don;t see any obvious effects from either of these/ Maybe something in the works?

Are there any settings that can effect what mouse scrolls do for volume or video track?

If not are there any plans to add mouse scrolls for volume and video tracking.

They would be a great feature for an already amazing software.

On a side note I have the JRemote on my ipad didn't see an option to connect to the OSX MC is there a way to hook it up?

Add a new server on JRemote.  Now you need to tell it how to get to that server.  The easiest way is to fill in the Access Key.  You can find the access key for your version of MC for Mac in the same place it is on the Windows version:

Tools > Options > Media Network > Access Key

Grab that, type it in on JRemote, and it should work great.  :)
