Considering that many users and reviewers have expressed concern about MC stability, this visualization should not ship with MC9 untill it is more stable. It is not ready for prime time yet.
BTW I have the latest version of all the drivers and plenty of RAM and processing power plus GForce 4 video card.

Stability problems seem at a "normal" level now. They never entirely go away because there are many reasons for the problems: hardware, drivers, and OS.
If you read the thread on 9.1.249, there are almost no stability problems.
If anyone thinks otherwise, please say so.
-
Do you have any more details about how to make it crash? (what you're doing, which preset you're using, etc.)
-
I haven't had any crashes for a while now, untill the new 3D visualization studio came out.
It crashes randomly during music playback after about 20 minutes. Switching back and forth between Playing Now and Media Library occasionally causes crashes when the new 3D visualization is enabled.

Matt,
How about adding a setting to cycle between all the available visualizations; because just running one visualization quickly gets boring?
