When playing a Dolby Digital 5.1 (AC3 file) recording (see e.g. "Psycho - A Narrative for String Orchestra 5.1.ac3" to download from:
https://onedrive.live.com/redir?resid=2BF77CAD19447B7A!3611&authkey=!AJKUBrpbyzxGBYU&ithint=folder%2c
) the message shown in "Zwischenablage-1.png" pops up again and again. When canceling MC finally crashes. At this time DSP Output Format is disabled (option not checked). See also JRiver log file.
If the Output Format is enabled in DSP studio and Output Encoding is set tp "Dolby Digital" and "Channels" is set to 5.1 MC works fine so far. But from time to time the music drops out.

This won't help you, but I downloaded your sample AC3 file and am playing it no problems.
Strange.
