Title: MC 21 on Win 10 doesn't see my NAS
Post by: shimrod on September 24, 2015, 11:22:42 am
I've upgraded to MC 21 from MC19 on a computer I recently upgraded to Win 10. I can see both of my NAS (there are two) in the Windows file system but when I'm attempting to add libraries MC 21 won't see either NAS. I can see other network computers. My MC 21 installation on another computer (Win 7) does not have this problem.

Another possible issue; on the Win 7 computer I setup MC 21 using a backup from MC19. I could not make a backup to MC 19 on the Win 10 computer due to the Win 10 upgrade; Win 19 would not open.

At this point I'm on the learning curve for both Win 10 and MC21. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hello, Shimrod,

I had the same problem with my Synology DS415+ NAS, following the same upgrades. I had to rebuild the connections to the NAS, in MC21, via the library commands. These are the same commands that you executed, the first time you set up your NAS in MC 19. When I did this, the problem was fixed and remains so. Hope this helps.
