Hello thanks in advance for your HELP. i try to play a streaming file of a radio station and it doesnt work. it worked many times in the past but somehow i make changes (mostly updates to software) to my computer and then it doesnt play anymore. the link is from this site http://www.702.co.za/listenlive/ and this exact file link http://www.antfarm.co.za/clients/702/702_16.asx
the most recent error message i get says "DIRECTSHOW:THE SPECIFIED PROTOCOL IS NOT SUPPORTED". it worked with the 9.0.180 and many builds in the past but then it stops. please help this is the only problem i have ever felt strongly enough to write about. i love the software and its the only one i reccomend to friends.
Randy

Well, it's probably too late to save that customer, but here we go anyway...
The solution to this problem is to open Windows Media Player and associate ASX files to it (which can be found hiding behind "Windows Media file (asf)".
