Title: sync part of huge collection of media file
Post by: DaremoS on October 06, 2015, 05:20:40 pm
I have a huge collection in my PC of albums of music, videos or media file. Several Tb.
To synchronize them I need just part of them, as handheld have less capacity than PC.
How can I select in my PC those media I want to synchronize with my movil device?
When I use automatic sync MC offers the entire library to synchronize.
Some times I get music of videos in the handheld which I want to include into the collection in my PC.

I imagine a Folder to put what I want to transfer back and forth, ie, synchronized, among PC and Handheld.

Handheld sync is driven by either media types (at the top of the list), or Playlists (further down the list).  All you have to do is build a playlist that has everything you want to sync.  Then choose that playlist as your sync target for your device, in the handheld sync definition.   It's actually very cool.  :)

You're right!
It's a cool feature this of synchronizing by playlists.

I'm not fond of playlists, specially in my main item which is music.
Then I haven't use this nice feature of MC, so no experience creating it.
It took mi a couple of minutes to get the point... and now is working nicely
For videos was the solution of my problems.

Thanks a lot!!
