Title: mediacenter 21 in mint 17.2, a beta version?
Post by: noay on October 08, 2015, 06:19:27 am
Hello, I just installed mediacenter 21 in mint 17.2.

It does work correctly but its standard is much below the window one. No integration in Linux, does not read cds or DVDs, no ripping, no TV, play lists are not working correctly, etc.

I like it because it deals very well all the music and videos (hours) I have and it has a very good sound. Now it looks to me as more a beta version than a finalized version.

I am not going to buy a license for how it works now. So may I have the certitude that it will evolve to at least the window standard and that the license I would buy would cover this more finalized and future version?

it's not a beta. i have used mc for linux since version 19. do not compare windows version with the linux version, windows is more mature, but the linux version is actively developed.
