Title: Can I set MC21 to default to the highest audio resolution?
Post by: harlington on October 19, 2015, 11:30:38 pm
I have some mkv movie files that have 2 audio: AC3 and dtsHD7.1.  When I start playing those movies, MC21 plays AC3 track that I have to manually switch to dtsHD track.  Is there a way to have MC21 to default and play the highest audio resolution (dtsHD) automatically?  Thanks.

Anyone?  I guess it is not possible?

MC will select a track that matches your preferred language. If both tracks are the same language, it should already prefer the higher quality audio track today.
Maybe one of the tracks has no or a different language tag?

^^ perhaps it's true. In my case, both tracks is in English with one being ac3 and the other being dtsHD. How do I check the audio tag or change it?
