Title: Convert Format function not working?
Post by: Marc on October 29, 2015, 08:31:07 am
Hello,

I've successfully transitioned my library from Win to Mac, with all my media files now stored remotely on a RAID6 NAS (works great).  There is one remaining thing that I'm having trouble with:  the Convert Format function.  Here's the story - I have many FLAC files that I need to convert to MP3 format, so I can burn them onto a CDROM to play in my car (it's an older car).  When I select the files, right-click on Library Tools -> Convert Format - nothing happens.  No pop-up box, no dialog box, no nothing.  Other functions (copy, rename, etc.), all function just like the Windows version of MC...just not convert format.  I've tried creating a second copy of desired files on my desktop and converting there, but still, no joy.

I really don't want to have to download some other FLAC to MP3 converter.  I'd like to just be able to do this in Media Center.  Any ideas?

Problem solved.  Window was larger than the screen, and there was no popup box like with other library functions - only a message in the action window.  Once I resized the window to fit my screen (went to fullscreen mode), I found the dialog box.  MC is working perfectly.
