Title: Can watch and record Film4+1 (Ch45) but no guide

Which means I can not auto record from guide just use current time plus 1, 2, 3 hrs etc.

Will doing a more thorough channel scan make any difference to guide availability.

FWIW: Windows MC  (same tuner) also shows no data for channel 45.  But Sony TV (same ariel built in tuner) does show data and at a push I can record to USB drive from their


Finally thanks to all those who have worked on MC TV recently it is sooo much more user friendly now

It is likely an issue with the source of EPG provider.  If you use mc2xml option in MC, the data comes from Microsoft by default.  That could explain why WMC also does not have guide data for the channel.  Running a more thorough scan of channels does not help.

You could use EPG Collector to get EPG Guide data from OTA for just that one channel. It would be the same guide data as your TV shows.
