I have been following the evolution of MC9.1 with great anticipation. I must say that the crew from JRiver are doing a fantastic job.
For me, MC is almost perfect now except for one thing.
I really need the ability to mix audio & video files in playlists that will play smoothly. To do this MC needs to be able to pass the audio of the mpg's through the xfade & DSP functions.
Any chance we might see this ability???

Hopefully in version 10. We have a lot of the code already written.
Thanks clout.

thanks for the reply Matt, look forward to it.
In the meantime, MC is by far the best for database facility & audio playing.

For v10 and video could we please also have the same basic video options that WMP9 has for video playback: Speed, Alpha, Contrast, Saturation, Brightness etc..
Allowing the full screen mode to be skinned would REALLY allow this to be a lot prettier too as right now it's aesthetically a bit lacking compared to WMP or RealOne.

A bit lacking? No...

Isn't Hairstyle a full-screen skin? Sure, there is room for improvements to the options available for the skinning...

Hello. I second clout's remarks about MC 9.1 -- absolutely fantastic ;D
For v10 video, please remember the current position in each video file and auto-resume from that point next time you play that file. This is pretty essential for long videos.
Also for v10, allow user to manually put bookmarks in a video and jump to nex/prev bookmark.
Actually, both of these features are applicable to audio too, when listening to audio books which sometimes have >1 hour tracks.
Thanks for taking suggestions!
