Title: JRemote seems to be connected, but nothing plays

I can connect JRemote to MC 21 and (most of the time) everything runs fine.  However, if I'm away from the computer for a few hours when I come back JRemote still shows that it is connected and will allow me to select an album but it will not play.  When I select the first song on the album to start playing the album it says that playback will now begin, but nothing happens.  I have to shut down MC21, restart it, and everything is fine again.

Any ideas on what is wrong?

It sounds like an IP address lease renewal may have changed the address of one of your devices. Make sure that both the machines that JRemote and MC are running on have reserved IP addresses.

Thank you very much for the help. Unfortunately, I don't know how to do what you suggest. Can you please help me with the mechanics of how to do what you suggest?
