Title: Downloaded MC21; do I uninstall 20?
Post by: audiogeek5 on December 04, 2015, 02:12:48 pm
Hi group,
Quick question: I downloaded MC21 today; in the install process, it did not uninstall MC20. (Perhaps that's normal.)

Do I uninstall MC20 now, or keep both programs on my PC? Will there be any complications if I uninstall MC20?

Thanks in advance for your help,
Jeff

You can uninstall any time.

Keep v20 until you have v21 fully set up and working like you want it.

Thanks for your responses; I'll keep MC20 until I get 21 the way I like it.

I have another question:

I downloaded some music today from HD Tracks; I don't quite know what I did (I could have tried to exit out of the download manager before it was finished); anyway....in 21, instead of all the tracks under one album, I have multiple albums with different tracks under each. I solved the issue by making a playlist, so no big deal. But - any idea what happened? Is there a way to fix this?

Jeff

Edit the tags and change the Album Artist and Album tags.
