Title: Not using correct device size for handheld sync

This issue has been around for some time now and currently experiencing it with an SD card in a Samsung S5.  (and MC 21.0.24)

See picture attached.  Using convert high bitrate when necessary and MP3 Extreme profile.  This usually works fine with an Ipod.

I've also had a similar issue when the SD card is plugged in the PC via USB with a card reader.

So it looks like you have 3.6GB of music queued up for transfer to the card, is that right?  And MC is saying that the card only has a little more than 3.6GB free currently, is that way off?  How much free space is there supposed to be on the card?

Try emptying the trash on the card.

I reformatted the SD card with the S5, tried it again and it now seems OK....I don't get it as I'm sure I tried the exact same steps before...  If I get this behaviour again I will report back.

Currently using 21.0.29.  Was anything changed not posted in the release notes?

Not that I know of relating to handheld space measurements.  
So are you saying that before doing the format, the card was mostly empty and should have shown something like 26 GB free after the 3.6 GB transfer?

Hi John,

Yes my point exactly.  I've been doing a few transfers recently and can't reproduce which is why I'm wondering if something was fixed.

Anyhow looks like the issue is resolved.  If it happens again I'll log and post back here.

Now trying with a freshly formatted USB card. (So no need to empty the recycle bin :) )
I should have kept a snapshot but it was similar to the one I sent above so not reporting the proper device size.
I'm also trying to use the Limit of Device Option in a smart list as well but it only populated 1.5 GB out of the 3.8 GB available for this card.

THEN I hit the "Rebuild database" to see if it would help but it made it worst now I have 0 space on this Device.
THEN I delete the Limit of device condition in the playlist and it shows the proper size.
But I have to adjust to size of the playlist manually to fit the limit of the device. (However it is smart enough to consider the transcoded files will be smaller and adjusts accordingly (BTW that is a very nice feature...)
(about 80% of the files are ALAC that will get converted to MP3 Normal.

Can you guys reproduce the same behavior on your end?
