Hi,
I need some to remotely setup/configure JRiver to run both music from my NAS and Tidal. Does anyone know of a provider for such a service?
Thx
John

This forum is the place. Ask specific questions.
Tidal can be played using the JRiver WDM driver as audio output device. Then JRiver will pick up the audio and route it to your physical audio output device.

Thank you.
I want JRiver or another service provider to turnkey setup my JRiver to include running Tidal.
Is there a service or person other than JRiver who can provide this?
Thx again!!

ME! I'm broke and my christmas goose isn't too fat this year ;D
Seriously though, you'd have to have JimH's permission, JRiver is a business and would need their approval
Not sure what you mean by turnkey -- as access to hardware can't be done externally. Configuring WDM for tidal remotely is probably not doable as you should be adjusting the sync config while listening - a walk through/guided session for the driver set up should work, however. And audio only is not as critical as streaming Video.
Also you'd want to be using PCs as clients (if Windows is the OS of course -- with one running media server + the NAS); as pushing to dlna controllers or network streamers, some devices would be hard to debug remotely if needed. NAS + a couple of PCs + JRemote on a LAN should be doable, though.
Again, it would depend if JRiver would allow this kind of thing, as their forum is not for conducting outside business.

I recommend Arindelle. You could send him a private message with your details.
