I'm trying to decided if it is time to upgrade. I've spent the last few weeks searching this forum and am curious what more experienced folks think.
I listen to high res stereo and multichannel music along with movies. I currently use the analog outs (by RCA) to an ATI 1506 amp. I have a 5.1 setup with ERA speakers (now Peachtree audio).
My budget is around $400. I was thinking of getting a used focusrite 18i20 (or sapphire pro + firewire card) and modifying the RCA's to TRS.
Opinions welcome.
