i don't know if anyone else has noticed that most music can not be put in 1 genre. it would be a great feature if Media Center 9x supported a sub or multi-genres tag.
Example:
Electronica\
Downtempo\
Breaks
so if a one searched your media center for a certain sound they would find an artist under different genres.

you can add a Genre2 field now
And Now For a Very Good Song
'You Had Me From Hello' Charted At 34 In 1999
Listening to: 'You Had Me From Hello' from 'Everywhere We Go' by 'Kenny Chesney' on Media Center 9.1

where is the field? i don't see it anywhere? what vesrion of media center 9.1 is this feature in?

The field is not there until you add it to your library: Tools/Options/Tree & View Settings/Library Fields. It doesn't have to be called Genre2, it can be called anything you want.

...And if you set it up as a semicolon delimited list you can specify as many sub genres against one song as you like.
King - You get 0/10 for your reply! When I read it I knew what the next question from dealsnick would be ;)

I'm just starting to play with it now, am not sure whether I want to create sub genre's or moods yet. I'll figure something out.
