Title: Deleting Playlists - Question
Post by: WendtCreations on August 30, 2003, 08:53:28 pm
Hello,

Is there any way to permanently delete the Auto Playlists that MC9 creates?  Top Hits, All the Bit rate ones, etc.  If at all possible, I would like to set it so that only PlayLists I have personally made appear listed.

Thanks for the input

As far as I know, these are only re-created on a re-install of MC...

Not exactly great, but once things become more stable, so they will "stay" deleted ;)

Hi, thanks for the reply.  Unfortunately, they do come back just by restarting MC9.  I delete them, close MC9, restart MC9, and they're back :(

Maybe there is a registry entry or something where they can be removed?

Thanks again

this one's come up before.
If you remove one of the default playlists, "Auto Smartlists (audio)" for example, it will be recreated on the restart. If you keep the group, but delete all the default group entries, they should stay deleted.

Thanks for the info:

I guess this is now officially a "Feature Request" then :)

I would really like to have only my own playlists listed in MC9.  Nicer on the organization front.  So, I hope JRiver can add this setting ... thanks a lot :)
