The guys at Genie Backup sent me this last night...
http://home.zoolz.co.uk/1tb-lifetime-offer/
Anyone got any thoughts on this? I tend to shy away from anything 'lifetime' as they rarely pan out. The exception for me being "Whereisit (http://www.whereisit-soft.com/)" which is a great optical media catalogue program I paid for over ten years ago that still retains its 'lifetime' status, even though I don't have much call for it these days, it was invaluable back then.

"Lifetime" can often be reduced to "lifetime of the service" as well, so..
Might still be interesting if the price is right for just a couple years as a backup solution, even if you have to relocate the data eventually should they close down.
I'm using Backblaze right now for backup, their yearly price already matches their "lifetime" offer (althoug Backblaze offers unlimited storage for that, but I don't even come close to 1TB yet)
