Hello, I was receiving 26 OTA channels using an old HDHomerun tuner until yesterday. First I received a 'no signal found' on my regular channels and so tried to re-setup in TV options and than MC could only find 6 channels, first with the 'no signal' problem than after a couple more attempts I could watch these six channels unfortunately they are ones I never watch, they come from an adjacent broadcast area and have weak signals. It's almost like MC is reading the wrong zip code except it's not picking up all the channels from the other area just about half.

Have you tried a different antenna?
I found that I get more stations (OTA) using the little table top antenna that came with my tuner card, than when I'm connected to the roof antenna on my house.
-
It's not the antenna, HDHomerun still picks up 26 channels, MC just can't see them.
-
I see.
Did you try running the scan using the "Perform a more thorough but slower scan"? Step 9 in this thread http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=100319.0 if your not sure.
PS. How do you know the HomeRun HD is seeing the channels? Are you running some other software that shows this?
-
Did the thorough scan several times. Downloaded and re-setup HDHomerun software found 26 channels. Still MC only sees 6.
-
Did you set JRiver Media Center as the main application in HDHomerun setup?
-
Yes BDA Compatibility Mode- JRiver Media Center
-
I am stumped. But I think there is something wrong with your device or driver even though you said HDHomerun application can find the channels. I have not made any changes in BDA tuning for years.
-
You might be right. HDHomerun View is only showing the six although 26 are listed. I'll check their boards. Thank's
