Title: Forum Responding Slowly

I think this started today.  Every thread I open to read hangs for 15 to 30 seconds and seems to be waiting on "s7.addthis.com" .

Not sure what's going on.  I thought I'd report it as it's slowing things down a lot.

fwiw seems fine here

google has a variety of info about that particular site, not entirely obvious if it is something that is local to your machine or not

That's an ad server, probably showing the embedded ad thing they have on Interact. Their server is probably broken for some reason (or S3 is or whatever).

I don't remember what ads it even serves anymore because of uBlock Origin, which would also solve your problem (wink, wink).

I don't think it's ads.  I think it's the little icons in the upper right corner that let you "like" a page.
