Title: How to change genre?
Post by: MrVegas on August 30, 2003, 05:28:54 am
here's a dumb-a$$ question for you:

I'm looking at a list of the 12 songs in an album in the right hand window

I want to change the genre from "rock" to "alternative"

How can I select all 12 songs and change the genre for all songs at once

I can't believe MC9 got rid of that earlier feature where you could right-click and select file properties and you could modify tons of things very easily

I think the more important issue is that "File Properties" most certainly still exists. Depending on what version you're using, MrVegas, it's placed as a sidebar to either the right of the main window or below the tree-pane. Check to see if the divider may just be completely brought to the right/lowered. If you find such a bar but it doesn't display file properties, click on the arrows on the top until it does. If you have a more recent version, the window'll be below the tree and it will have icons in it. Navigate the icons until you get to the kind of properties view you want. Either way, the file properties window is NOT GONE! Really!
