Title: CA Stream Magic Volume Control
Post by: Heathwood99 on December 30, 2015, 09:40:22 am
Hello,

I am having some success with this using the digital pre amp mode on the CA renderer.

I am able to decrease the volume using the slider on JRemote on my IPad, however when I try increasing the volume the slider pops back to a 28% value and no volume increase is heard.

My MC Center version is MC20 (I don't get on with 21).

Has anyone else had a similar experience to this?

 :)

Also on MC20, my JRemote will not issue remote volume commands, the sliders moves and shows the setting I pick, but no changes on the renderer (an Onkyo TX-NR818).
My other issue is: at the start of each track, the volume is reset to zero.

The volume is set to zero. And you cannot change the volume. So you never hear anything. Right?

JonFo have you got a "digital preamp mode" setting on your Onkyo?

Unless I set this on my StreamMagic, the ability to control volume in JRemote will not work.
