Title: Is it possible for YADB (or something else) to only look up Genre tags?

I have a very large (30,000+) FLAC library that I have meticulously tagged over the past 12 years. Despite the attention put into curating the library, I am unhappy with the Genre tag values. Is is possible to over-ride only the Genre tags with values looked up from YADB or some third party source?

I *think* MCUtils can do this by looking up against AMG.  I haven't tried it though, so you'll want to ask around, or do some experiments.

You mean from within MC?

Doesn't matter is the solution is within MC or requires a Third Party app.

I really like the musicbrainz setup (with the picard tagger), but it is somewhat involved

the perl script is best. it really is amazing.  now fully automated too
