Title: Add plus/minus buttons to internal volume slider?
Post by: Trumpetguy on January 05, 2016, 07:55:26 am
When using the internal volume slider I often find it a bit too small for fine tuning. Every now and then I want to turn the volume up or down one or two clicks.
I think adding a + and - button in either end of the slider could be useful. Can it be considered? Or maybe other solutions I am not creative enough to come up with for simple and fast fine tuning.

You could try the mouse wheel.  It's really easy to move one click that way.

Oooh, I didn't know that. Thanks, it serves the purpose!

Once you click the volume control, the up/down and left/right arrows also allow for fine control.

CTRL + + and CTLR + - also allow for quick up/down 1% increments of the volume.

Also, Microsoft was just granted a patent for a slider with plus and minus buttons on the ends.

Really.  :o
