Title: tagging

i seem to have missed something
in mc20 once i select artist or individual album i could tag however i wanted to
in mc21 i get message "no files selected" and there is a further step required - i have to select album by individual album art for whatever tagging i want to do
i hope this makes sense
can someone advise please

i am guessing this is it ??

1. Changed: Made a change to the tagging window to prevent editing tags when no files are selected.

i have reverted to 21.0.24
this change makes no sense to me

It was changed because the old method allowed deletion of files when none were selected.

this still puzzles me
there was a prompt after pressing delete button that asked if we were sure and gave options ie delete from library or computer

was that not enough??

this change does make tagging more awkward
 ?
