Title: JRemote iOS gapless playback when transcoding
Post by: dlpalinc on January 11, 2016, 09:39:17 am
Whenever I set JRemote to transcode my flac files to 320 Kbps, playback isn't gapless. It seems like tracks are being switched a couple of seconds before they've finished (at least that is what the time indicator shows me). Everything is perfectly gapless whenever I allow JRemote to stream in flac format.

Anyone else noticing this behaviour?

JRemote 3.22 on iOS 9.2 (6S), Media Center 21.0.34 on Windows 8

What device are you playing to? i.e. the tablet, the PC, or some other renderer?

Ok. I am pretty sure that MC does not support gapless play when pushing to its own JRemote application. Someone else posted a similar report on another thread in this forum.

However let's see what the JRiver guys say..
