Title: Problem installing license

I installed MC9.1(203) without problems on my main PC (Windows XP prof. ) including the license.  

However on my second machine (Windows Me) I get an error when I install the license:

    Error restoring Media Center license:
    BB initialization failure.

Any suggestions ?

what version of MC9 do you have on the second computer?

I think the "BB initialization failure."

"BB" Stands For "Buy Button"

Do you have a MJ8 License Or An MC9 License?

if it is a MJ8 License you may need to install MJ8 First Then Register MJ8 Then Upgrade To MC9

Any idea how to get it installed? I received the MJR file last sunday, so it still has to be valid.

It is an MC9 license and, as said, my main PC installs well with it.

the only thing i can think of is the date the computer is set to. make sure it is correct.

maybe someone else may have an idea

I have the same Problem ...

New installation of Windows 2000, Installation of Media Center and the problem is still there ... !?

Any good idea !?          :P
