Title: JRemote - Anyone able to achieve landscape display with iphone 6s?
Post by: badger on January 14, 2016, 09:33:36 am
I've tried "long press"... double tap, rotating phone.  Can't get images to rotate.  If this feature doesn't exist yet... here's my vote for the enhancement.  Can't use this for images if I can't get pictures in landscape.  Thanks...

Sure doesn't work on a 5S.  It used to on previous versions.

I think we're only talking about Assets....at least I am.  The app never rotated; however, assets did and it was very helpful reading the small print in landscape.

I'm not sure what you mean by Assets.   But I'm only concerned with rotating images.  I'll probably go back to Android if this limitation is standard for JRemote... although I really like the "pinch & zoom" that JRemote will do on images.  Gizmo won't pinch & zoom but it does do landscape.  Oh well, the iPhone was a BOGO deal with AT&T when I added a line to my family plan.  Since it was free (for the most part) I thought I'd try using iPhone for a while.

I'm not sure what you mean by "Assests" or Assets.

For info, this allows you to associate and view files located within the associated media folder (like Album): eg. pdf files, like liner notes, librettos; other images and things you get from HD downloads, other cover art. There is a paper clip icon to click on. If there is nothing else, and you keep a folder.jpg in the folder, this is the only thing you can see.

This is a very cool feature, which is only on the IOS version ... which is really too bad for Android users. This is sort of blocking me from getting an android device, wonder why they don't port this over?

Landscape mode would help with long titles as well.
I vote for it as well
