Title: Licensing question about clent / server

I want to install JRiver on my server in server mode and on a laptop in client mode. can I use the same license?

sure provided that it runs the same OS. The file that unlocks the software only lasts a couple of weeks though (10days? not sure). If you go past that you'd need to do a restore ... search the forum easy to find instructions on this.

If your have multiple operating systems you could upgrade to a master license, for info.

And by OS, he means Windows, Linux, or OSX, not Windows 7 and Windows 10, etc...

In other words, if they are all Windows machines, then you can use the same license.  But if one is a Mac, and one is Windows, then you will want the Master License.
