I actually noted this quite a while ago, but never got around to complaining.
Versions of MC have had a link to Playing Now (Theater View version) in the Top Roller all along, which I use constantly to navigate back and forth between browsing through my Library and playing music in Theater View. At some point fairly recently, this link vanished.
This makes it impossible to quickly browse for new content (to, for example, add a song as next to play) and then return to the Playing Now screen, while preserving your ability to quickly go back and continue browsing for new content. As it is, the only way to get back to Playing Now is to go all the way to the root of Theater View, then navigate over to Gadgets > Playing Now. But this makes you lose your "current browsing location" in the view hierarchy of Theater View, and so is no good.
Was this removed on purpose?
If it was removed on purpose, can we get an option or something to bring it back, please? It really messes up my "workflow" when playing music in Theater View.

It's still in the 'Audio', 'Shows', 'Movies', 'Home Videos', etc. views for me.

I still have it in my audio theater views on the top roller FWIW.

If the view resolves to no files (I just tied a test diddy) it goes away.
But I'm assuming you actually have files in your views? What rules are you using for the files to show? What if you change back to the default?

I just went and tested (remotely, which was fun)...
Turns out I'm a liar. Sorry. The Playing Now link is still there in my Views. It is Playlists that don't show it. I use these for browsing sometimes, and I got mixed up, I guess. Serves me right for posting from memory.
So... Any way we could get the same item in the top roller for Playlists?

Because you're such a good user, we'll add it just for you.
Next build:
Changed: The Playing Now roller item is shown on the top roller when in playlists (previously it only showed in the library).
