Title: can't push multichannel dvd rip, get stereo only

hello

I was able to push dvd rip (vob/ifo etc.) to my samsung tv (connected to pioneer avr via hdmi arc) but it only played stereo track and I couldn't make it stream 5.1 audio no matter what output formats I tried
any chance to make it work?

ARC on the TV is usually the problem.  Run the output to your AVR for MCH.

it has nothing to do with the ARC
tv doesn't even show that there are several audio tracks available in streamed content
