Title: 4k Blu-ray and BDXL drives

Any word on whether existing BDXL drives will play the new UHD 4k Blu-ray discs coming out? Will we be able to watch them in JRiver? (I guess that's an AnyDVD/Passkey question.)

My understanding is that BDXL drives will work, and MC can certainly play HEVC 4K Content.... but as you mention, until they are out in the wild it will be interesting to see how the decrypters go and if there is any change in the playback logic.
